Uni Systems Consortium implements EUR 10.8 million contract with the European Chemicals Agency

Uni Systems Consortium, composed of Uni Systems S.A. as leader and Atos Belgium and Atos Spain as partners, has been awarded and currently implements the Framework Service Contract for the Provision of Enterprise Content Management services and solutions for the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

The Framework Contract’s estimated value is EUR 10.8 million, with an initial duration of 24 months and a renewal option for up to 24 more months. Uni Systems’ participation is estimated at around EUR 6.5 million, which corresponds to 60%of the total estimated budget.The Framework Contract is expected to assist the Agency’s mission to manage registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction processes for chemical substances ensuring consistency across the European Union.

Under the Framework Contract, Uni Systems will build on and further develop the existing Agency’s EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management (ECM) infrastructure, by providing among others, projects and application development, application support and maintenance as well as platform configuration and operations services. Uni Systems will be involved in various functional areas of the Agency’s ECM, including case and workflow management, document management, and records management and archiving.Uni Systems is constantly and steadily laying the groundwork for further enhancing its European perspective, and is gradually becoming recognized as one of the most reliable suppliers of the European Community.
