Kallikratis “Ready to Run” by Uni Systems

By developing IT and communications solutions that are standardised and ready to be implemented (ready to run), Uni Systems and its partners Citrix, HP and Microsoft® are leading the transition of municipalities in Greece, to the new administrative organization of the country, which is to be established on the basis of the Kallikratis Plan.Uni Systems and its partners, within a well-defined strategic framework, and with proposals that emerged from the aggregate experience of the four companies in the field of local administration, developed integrated, standardized solutions that will support the transformation of municipalities into dynamic and effective self-administered units, capable of responding promptly to the needs of their citizens. The new Plan takes effect on January 1st, 2011.The solutions, which are based on the integrated Q-Prime software applications suite, provide an operational integration of the IT systems of the municipalities that will merge and establish an environment that is capable of handling all new requirements throughout the whole range of administrative services.Low cost, complete utilization of the current (legacy) systems, and implementation know-how are the essential features of the new solutions. At the same time they guarantee a responsible and secure implementation by 1.1.2011, to the benefit of citizens. With the core message of “January 1st, 2011 is here!,” these solutions will be presented at the Modern Municipality 2010 Exhibition and Conference, held on May 8th and 9th at Zappeion Centre in Athens. On Saturday, May 8th, Uni Systems will be delivering a presentation on “Applied practices for the transition of Municipalities based on Kallikratis plan.”
