Uni Systems and KEYW Join Forces to Address Corporate Data Retention Requirements across Central and Eastern Europe

Strategic Partnership Enables Customers to Manage EU Data Retention Requirements

Uni Systems, one of the most reliable providers of integrated solutions and value added services in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and KEYW Corporation (NASDAQ: KEYW), through its subsidiary Sensage, announced the  expansion of its strategic partnership. Under this agreement, the companies are extending their existing sales partnership to deliver an integrated, secure, scalable data collection and retention system to organizations throughout the CEE region. By combining Sensage’s advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) with Uni Systems’ expertise and sales reach, the partnership is enabling commercial and government organizations to address the European Union (EU) Data Retention Directives and respond to today’s challenging IT security requirements.

"Countries across Europe are adopting the Data Retention Directive, requiring telecommunications operators and Internet Service Providers to implement solutions that efficiently manage compliance, storage and investigation demands,” explained Constantine Serros, Enterprise Solutions Business Unit Director at Uni Systems. "By leveraging the Sensage patented event data warehouse, we can deliver turnkey solutions – on premise or hosted – to get customers up and running quickly and affordably.”

In addition to addressing these data retention requirements, the combination of Uni Systems services and Sensage technologies also address critical security processes, such as log management, compliance reporting, real-time monitoring, forensic investigations and incident response, which are essential to identifying malicious activity.
With advanced out-of-the-box analytics, including reports and dashboards, along with a standard querying capability and an OBDB/JDBC interface for any third party business intelligence tool, Sensage also makes it easier for Uni Systems’ customers to do critical analysis and conduct investigations within hours and days – as opposed to weeks and months – reducing the time to discover and avoiding the disruptions typically caused by accommodating law enforcement inquiries.

"Sensage is a trusted technology for organizations needing to collect, store and analyze vast amounts of event data,” said Joe Gottlieb, Vice President of KEYW's commercial products division. “Over the last five years, we have successfully collaborated with Uni Systems on a number of customer implementations, which helped their experts develop an in-depth understanding of our technology. This expanded partnership opens new doors and allows us to significantly increase our footprint in new and emerging markets.”

As an authorized Elite Reseller, Uni Systems provides consulting, implementation and training services to all customers and local partners. Uni Systems and Sensage are already working with a number of joint customers, including leading telecommunications operators, government organizations, financial institutions and other large enterprises. The companies are also expanding the reach of the relationship to additional regions, including Serbia through an agreement with systems integrator Comtrade.
