The Power of Virtualization in the Service of Enterprises, Athens

The "getVirtual now" event organised by Microsoft Hellas and Uni Systems.

Athens, December 9, 2008 – The multiple benefits of innovative virtualization technology for modern enterprises were demonstrated at the special event "getVirtual now" that was organised by Microsoft Hellas and Uni Systems on December 9, 2008. IT executives that attended the event had the opportunity to see, in detail, the ways in which virtualisation technology can support modern organisations in their effort to maximise the power of their IT systems, while ensuring the saving of resources and the reduction of operating costs. During the special technical section of the event, IT professionals were acquainted with the complete family of tools offered by Microsoft, such as Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008, with which they are able to achieve better management of physical and virtual servers, storage media, network, and  personal computers to significantly reduce energy consumption.
